אודות האירוע

מפגש אישי וכן, בו רותם כרמי מספרת את סיפור ההתמודדות המשפחתית שלה ב-9 השנים האחרונות, עם מחלת ה- ALS, מחלת ניוון שרירים קשה וחשוכת מרפא.

בהרצאה רותם מתארת כיצד בתוך כאוס גדול בנתה בחייה איים של שליטה, חיים מלאים בסיפוק ותחושת מסוגלות. היא מדגישה את המקומות של הכוח,  ובוחרת להקטין את הכעס, את חוסר האונים והקושי.

רותם משתפת באותנטיות, ללא מסכות, בהחלטה היום-יומית שלנו לבחור, בכל פעם מחדש, לחיות, גם כשהמציאות קשה וכואבת.
