אודות האירוע
השם קרן ליבוביץ אומר לרוב האנשים בד"כ דבר אחד- אלופה פראלימפית- שחיינית בעלת 7 מדליות, מתוכן 4 זהב בסידני ואתונה, ומספר שיאי עולם.
קרן נפגעה בצבא בתאונת אימונים וספגה פציעה בחוליות הגב התחתון שגררה שיתוק בשתי הרגליים, בעקבותיה הייתה מרותקת במשך שנים לכיסא גלגלים. עובדה שלא מנעה ממנה להפוך לשחיינית אולימפית מצטיינת ולגדל שני זוגות תאומים.
אבל בשקט בשקט, רחוק מהתקשורת, הצליחה קרן לבצע את אחד השינויים המשמעותיים בחייה. במהלך השנתיים האחרונות צללה קרן לעולם הפילאטיס, כמו שרק היא יודעת לעשות- במחוייבות מלאה ובצורה טוטאלית, וזכתה לצאת מכיסא הגלגלים.
